The project

 

The objective of the Herbartis is to develop and strengthen new education and training paths aimed at improving the skills and abilities of aromatic and medicinal plant producers and to meet the different needs of the market.

Herbartis wants to improve and expand high quality training through the use of new technologies focused on educators, university students, managers of the commercial sector and media operators. Among the project outputs, Herbartis guidelines can be downloaded here.

CTFC – Center Tecnològic Forestal de Catalunya is a public consortium connected to the administration of the Government of Catalonia. Its mission is to contribute to the modernization and competitiveness of the forestry sector, to promote rural development and the sustainable management of the environment.

LE TERRE DEI SAVOIA

 

Located at the Castle of Racconigi, Le Terre dei Savoia is an association that brings together more than 50 Piedmontese municipalities. It aims at giving value to the identity of the territory, its cultural and natural heritage, and tradition of excellence.

UESS

 

UESS is an association founded in 2002 in Forcalquier, France. It includes approximately 100 members and is home to a research and training center in the field of aromatic herbs.
It deals with European projects and cultural and scientific training. From 2018 it began to manage Artemisia Museum, a place dedicated to the aromatic and medicinal plants of upper Provence.

ADCMOURA

 

ADCMoura is a non-profit organization founded in 1993 in Moura, in the Alentejo region. Its work is inspired by the principles of local development, social economy and equal opportunities. Certified as a training organization since 2001, it is a member of numerous national and international networks in the social, business and rural development fields.

CRA

 

CRA is a national body with general scientific expertise in the agricultural, agro-industrial, fish and forestry sectors. CRA is placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies.

IRTA

 

IRTA is a research institute of the Government of Catalonia, connected to the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Food and Environment. Its purpose is to contribute to the modernization, competitiveness and sustainable development of the agri-food and aquaculture sectors, to favor the supply of healthy and quality food for consumers and to improve the well-being of the population.
